Which Ladder Are You Trying to Climb?
It has always amazed us that recruiters and headhunters at other companies are psychic - they have the ability to know what the PERFECT job is for you before they even know anything about you!
We're not psychic - we need to understand you before we can even form an opinion on whether or not a specific company or job is a good fit for you. We're not in the business of trying to sell you on our open job orders: we want to make a great match.
How We Work with Our Candidates
If you aren't looking for a new job, that's OK. In fact, we prefer to work with candidates that are happily employed, but that are also enlightened enough to understand that the next step they desire in their lives and careers might be at a different employer.
Our initial discussions with you will focus primarily on two items: 1) your skills and accomplishments, and 2) your wish-list for professional growth.
Once we understand you, we'll evaluate our large portfolio of clients against your criteria and identify any that we believe can provide you with an appropriate opportunity. We'll give you in-depth information about each company, and then you can decide whether or not we introduce you to them. All of our discussions will be completely confidential, and we will never share your name, contact information, or resume with a client without your prior approval.
From a Satisfied Candidate...
"Stanley Reid & Company provided a much different experience than I was used to with recruiting agencies. The first time we talked, they didn't even mention a specific job or employer. They wanted to know about ME: what I wanted in my career, what I was currently happy with, and what I'd like to change. They really helped me identify what I wanted my future to look like.
Once we all understood what I was looking for, they presented a confidential summary of me to several organizations, and one of them was extremely interested. I interviewed and it was a great match. Stanley Reid & Company negotiated an offer that I accepted, and they even helped me figure out the right way to resign from my current position without burning any bridges."
